A lot has changed since I last ate here. For one, they took away the self serve tempura flakes and green onion station. And they also got rid of their mentaiko option. But with that said, the cold udon here is pretty good. Very chewy, and the shichimi pepper that you can season your udon with has a pretty good kick. I got myself the cold nikutama udon with bk sauce. Also added a tamago tempura. Best parts were definitely the chewy udon, shichimi peppers, and tempura flakes. I wouldn't waste my money on the tempura since it could be sitting out for a bit. The eating area is pretty tight so I was always scared of bumping into people and spilling my food. It's a cheap option if you're craving udon. But please bring back the mentaiko.

After having almost their entire menu, my favorite entree is the Nikutama Udon. I like to get a large, paired with an extra side of beef, which is easily two or three meals for me. I also like the shrimp and tamagoyaki tempura. My partner normally orders the Kitsune udon, but asked me to remind him to try the Beef Udon next time.

This is located outside the mall, so it can be busy but there's a lot of parking. I got the regular Nikituma udon & it was enough to fill me for dinner. I think it was $14. I loved the broth, eggs, soft noodle & beef. I like the shrimp tempura but not the sweet potato. Plenty of seats inside & outside.

My Hubby's belly is always happy leaving here with a belly full of broth and udon. Curry Nikutama is a hardy broth and more than filling. Beef Nikutama is a lighter broth and soul soothing. Everything is delicious and prepared upon order. The tempura calamari is light and cooked perfectly. It pairs well with any soups. We always love it here.
